Construction Under Way at Gardens at Ocotillo Assisted Living and Memory Care

Arizona's newest senior living community to open in May 2015.

    CHANDLER, AZ, March 31, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Known for delivering luxurious senior living at an affordable price, Denver-based Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC announces that construction is under way on its newest senior community, at 1601 West Queen Creek Road in Chandler, with Scottsdale-based MT Builders Companies spearheading the project and Gastinger Walker Harden + BeeTriplett Buck as architect.

Located on the south side of Queen Creek Road, half a mile west of Alma School Road, Gardens at Ocotillo Senior Living is set to open in May 2015. It will offer a wide range of options, including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care, as well as Spectrum's well-known amenities, dining and signature programs. Residences will range from studio apartments to two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,200-square-foot apartment homes.

Gardens at Ocotillo is Spectrum's third community in Arizona. All residences within the 135,000-square-foot community have been planned to maximize health, independence, security and peace of mind, while also compassionately supporting those who need more assistance. As with all Spectrum communities, Gardens at Ocotillo will host on-site personal care services with licensed professionals who offer occupational and speech therapies, monthly health screenings and physical rehabilitation.

Resident move-in at Gardens at Ocotillo is scheduled for June 2015. Spectrum will begin taking reservations for its month-to-month rental program beginning this month through its website, www.gardensatocotilloseniorliving.com. Once open, the community is expected to employ 80 full-time employees and caregivers from the area.
