Michael Haralson - Transforming Education with Next-Generation Robotics

JetSpark Robotics, Ltd., is a robotics and artificial intelligence company

Haralson developed deep expertise in product development, marketing, and commercialization of wireless communication

ESPOO, FINLAND, April 18, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Haralson, Founder of JetSpark Robotics, Ltd., is on a personal mission to inspire the world to become as excited and passionate about the emerging field of "Edu Robotics" as he is.

During his 16 years at Nokia, Haralson developed deep expertise in product development, marketing, and commercialization of wireless communication. His current passion - advanced robotic technologies for education - is transforming the classroom experience for a generation of students.
"Personally speaking, it's a perfect niche for me," he says. "In addition to the technical and product-commercialization skills I learned at Nokia, I am also applying my early background as a Ph.D. student in economics, where I learned how to forecast markets, predict future trends, and analyze competitors. I really enjoy the merger of wireless and advanced-robotic technologies."

Edu-Robotics is about to transform the classroom experience for a generation of students by using robots to enhance learning and eliminate burdensome administrative tasks for teachers.

Mr. Harlalson founded his company, Jetspark Robotics, to merge familiar mobile-phone technologies - wireless LANs, USB interfaces, GPS - with future robotics technologies, for example, advanced sensors, artificial intelligence, "computer vision," and algorithm systems (in other words, the robot makes decisions by itself, and on the fly, and need not be controlled by commands via wireless network).

His expertise is commercialization and product marketing - bridging the gap the gap between R&D, sales, and marketing. In addition to Edu-Robotics, Haralson is exploring applications of robotics to physical therapy, to help achieve consistency of treatment and assist with documentation and reporting tasks.
Recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, he attributes his recent successes to Nokia - a large organization, with vast resources - and his own perseverance develop Edu-Robotics and advance Edu-Robotics. "I really love what I'm doing," he says of his involvement in Edu-Robotics. "It's an area of human endeavor that applies advanced technology to invigorate learning and improve the classroom experience for both students and teachers."
