Bryan Wollam has Proven His Exceptional Business Acumen in the Petroleum Industry

Mr. Wollam plans to take his business to the multimillion-dollar level in the coming years.

Mr. Wollam has 20 years of overall experience, having recently become the CEO of Wollam Petroleum Advisory Group

HOUSTON, TX, May 19, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bryan Wollam, Chief Executive Officer of Wollam Petroleum Advisory Group, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Operations Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Mr. Wollam has 20 years of overall experience, having recently become the CEO of Wollam Petroleum Advisory Group. He is considered by the petroleum, oil and gas industry as a technical expert in the areas of risk management, operational excellence, standards, specifications and legal requirements. He has served on the API technical groups for writing the new industry standards and his company is responsible for providing API intellectual property for training materials for operators, service providers, auditors and consultants. He is responsible for overseeing all WPAG operations, as well as interacting with government, private institutions and executives from international, independent and national oilfield companies.

Mr. Wollam has held executive-level management and leadership positions with several Fortune 500 companies over the past two decades. Mr. Wollam speaks at international and national conferences throughout the world. In 2013, he gave presentations for API, ASQ and Fortune 500 Companies in Singapore, China, Russia, Dubai and the United States. He has also traveled extensively with ExxonMobil in teaching the new API Q2 Industry Standard.

Looking back, Mr. Wollam attributes his success to working with great teams, as well as his ability to identify great employees and develop those with potential. He became involved in his profession after spending many years in the industry, and being encouraged by his professional contacts to venture out on his own and start a business with the expertise and support he had gained over the years.

Mr. Wollam received a master's degree in occupational health and safety engineering from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in business management through the University of Phoenix. In addition to his degrees, Mr. Wollam has earned several professional distinctions, including certified petrochemical quality professional, certified quality manger, certified quality auditor and certified reliability engineer. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with API Industry Committees. In 2013, he was recognized for his contributions in the development of the latest API Q2 Industry Training Programs, and he has received numerous awards over the years by Federal OSHA for helping companies achieve safety excellence through OSHA VPP outreach.

Prior to this business career, he served in the United States Marine Corps. During his tour of duty he guarded two United States presidents; President Ronald Regan and President George W. Bush. After serving presidential duty, he went off to Operation Desert Storm, receiving the Kuwait Liberation Medal for serving his country in combat. In addition, in 2006 he was diagnosed with a terminal cancer, which he defeated with the help and support of family and friends. In his spare time, he participates in extreme events like the Peak Death Race (one of the toughest races in the world) and the World's Toughest Mudder to raise awareness for children with cancer.

In the coming years, he plans to contribute much more to society through donations and supporting different causes that contribute to society. He also plans to be running a multimillion dollar company, which would include branching outside of petroleum into fields such as mining, aerospace, and automotive, offering the same types of services that he does now for the petroleum industry. He will also explore partnerships with government agencies and private institutions.
