Prior to establishing her own company, Ms. Petersson worked as a giftware agent. Since she was paid purely on commission, she was obligated to do painstaking legwork in order to establish a foothold in the market. She would achieve this goal by creating her own database of clients from scratch. Such was Ms. Petersson's level of quality and commitment to her work that soon other companies began to take notice, and she found herself being headhunted by labels hoping to add her skill set to their teams. Through these offers, Ms. Petersson gained a great deal of experience, and she acquired several glowing references from previous employers, many of whom still express interest in taking her on to this day.

Ms. Petersson decided to start Full of Beans as a result of her entrepreneurial vision, which she fulfilled with no small amount of blood, sweat and tears. When she began the business, she was frequently warned of the dangers of opening a small business within a small community, consisting of only eight other small shops, and with no passing trade. Despite this potential drawback, Ms. Petersson has thrived, defying conventional trends and forging her own path.

Within Full of Beans, Ms. Petersson's current duties are providing customer service, sourcing stock, creating displays and overseeing planning and execution. In the future, she aims to again change careers and move into the personal and spiritual development field. Ms. Petersson has achieved a great deal of success through her focus, determination and excellent communication skills. "I have a high degree of self-sufficiency and resourcefulness and love the decision-making process," she explains. "I love dealing with intellectual challenges while enjoying my creative side. In recognition of all her achievements, which include being a finalist for small business awards, she was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding. She also maintains charitable affiliations with the Breast Cancer Council and the National Heart Foundation of Australia. She also donates to the community. Though she looks back on a career full of achievement and accomplishments, Ms. Petersson feels that her best days still lie ahead.
