Northeastern Eye Institute to Open New Office in Wilkes-Barre

    SCRANTON, PA, June 16, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Northeastern Eye Institute has announced plans to open a new office in the Triangle Plaza at 679 Kidder St., in Wilkes-Barre, the site of the former Pearle Vision Center. The space is now being renovated and the company expects to be open for business in early August.

NEI currently has offices at 141 S. Main Street and 500 Scott Street that they plan to merge into the one location. "We are proud to open a new center in Wilkes-Barre that will allow us to better serve our Luzerne County patients. This is a very exciting venture for Northeastern Eye Institute and one that shows our commitment to this market," said Thomas Boland, M.D., member of the NEI Board of Directors.

Doctors who will be practicing at the Kidder Street office include Gary Frank, O.D., Jerry Brown, O.D., and John Menzel, O.D., from the Main St. office and Lisa Toole, O.D., and Mary Ellen Judge, O.D., from the Scott St. office. "We will be offering quality optometric services, an eyeglass selection that ranges from high-end designer lines to budget friendly packages and comprehensive contact lens services," said Dr. Boland.
