OklaVision Unveils Relaunched Video Network

New videos and platform capture the beauty of Oklahoma's natural environment.

The result is breathtaking and totally inspired by the originality of Oklahomans and the land they love. We think even well-traveled Oklahomans will be inspired to explore their backyards more often.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, June 18, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- OklaVision, the high-definition, video-rich network that explores the vast landscapes of Oklahoma through the lenses of the state's leading videographers, recently debuted on a new platform with never-before-seen videos. Proudly presented by the Chickasaw Nation, OklaVision is dedicated to highlighting the beauty of Oklahoma's diverse environment.

At www.OklaVision.tv, the state's landscapes come to life across dynamic HD video channels. This online gateway is a unique visual experience, offering viewers the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the state's most iconic animals, rivers and lakes, natural architecture and untamed wilderness.

Furthermore, OklaVision is dedicated to supporting and partnering with organizations across the state that protect our environment and wildlife. The Nature Conservancy of Oklahoma is one such partner, and the conservation areas and preserves they protect are proudly featured on the network.

"We are very fortunate to partner with OklaVision and have such breathtaking videos created by their talented crew, showcasing the Conservancy's preserves in Oklahoma," said Mike Fuhr, State Director of The Nature Conservancy of Oklahoma. "When you visit OklaVision, you will see videos of areas we protect along the Blue River and in the Tallgrass Prairie. We are incredibly excited and grateful to be a part of this opportunity to increase exposure for some of Oklahoma's most diverse habitats."

With OklaVision's enhanced design and new universal platform, high-quality playback reveals the hidden facets of Oklahoma on any device. Videos can be viewed by region or by themed channels that emphasize the various aspects of the state's natural terrain. The Water and Landscapes channels illuminate Oklahoma's aquatic features and geographical locales. The Wildlife channel documents the thriving species of Oklahoma's mountains and plains. The Recreation and Parks channels explore the wilderness areas of the state's parks and preserves, and the Immersion channel proves just how easy it is to get lost in the natural wonders of Oklahoma. Each video profile contains information and resource links for those who would like to learn more about area activities, lodging and contacts.

"There is nothing else out there like OklaVision," said Becky King, SVP and Creative Director at Ackerman McQueen. "It's a dream come true for a nature lover like me to be involved in a project like this. With some of the best videographers in the region, we are capturing stunning and diverse Oklahoma landscapes, water and wildlife from across the state and then combining the most beautiful images you can imagine with emerging Oklahoma musical talent - instrumentalists, singers, composers and poets. The result is breathtaking and totally inspired by the originality of Oklahomans and the land they love. We think even well-traveled Oklahomans will be inspired to explore their backyards more often."
