Lex van der Heijden Forges New Ground with Nonprofit Patient Organization

    LEUSDEN, NETHERLANDS, June 26, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CMTC-OVM President Lex van der Heijden has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in project management, transition management and crisis management.

Over the course of an illustrious career, Mr. van der Heijden has garnered a reputation of prominence and distinction as a persevering, result-driven, detail-oriented team player who makes measured decisions, performs high quality work, and acts as a fastidious networker and organizer with a human focus. He specializes in project management, crisis management, project management consultancy and coaching, customer relationship management, outsourcing, data center supervision, quality assurance, process improvement, service delivery and IT. He is the president of a worldwide nonprofit patient organization which concentrates on a very rare disease.

Mr. van der Heijden has amassed more than 17 years of experience in his field, and he is primarily responsible for offering activities that are aimed at the well-being of people who suffer from vascular malformations such as CMTC, or Van Lohuizen syndrome. CMTC-OVM is a nonprofit patient organization that promotes scientific research for CMTC, a rare skin disease. Its activities are aimed at the well-being of people who suffer from vascular malformations like CMTC (Van Lohuizen syndrome) and to stimulate the scientific research of these afflictions.

With all of the triumphs that he has made as project manager, Mr. van der Heijden now attributes his success to his networking and branding skills, and looks forward to many more successes to come in the years ahead. He became involved in his profession because he is the father of a child with a rare disease. He founded the organization in 1997 in order to help others in the same situation.

Mr. van der Heijden will receive a degree in holistic psychotherapy from Helios, and he has completed coursework in project management, as well. He is a Certified Senior Project Manager through IBM, he holds a degree in psychosynthesis (propedeuse) from The Institute of Psychosynthesis, and he has completed additional industry-related coursework at the University of Washington and Stanford University. Furthermore, he is a project management professional (PMP), as accredited by the Project Management Institute. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the Project Management Institute. Mr. van der Heijden was a worldwide volunteer with IBM in 2006, as well. In the years to come, Mr. van der Heijden intends to increase visibility for CMTC.
