New iPhone Case Makes Capturing Group Photos, Personal Videos, and Memories Better by Getting YOU #InThePicture

CaseCam's compact iPhone tripod case and innovative photo snapping app puts you back in group photos, simplifies capturing video, and takes the arm out of your pictures.

CaseCam solves a problem faced by students, moms, dads, travelers, video bloggers, and anyone who uses their phone to snap group photos or take video.

SEATTLE, WA, July 22, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CaseCam is the newest innovation to make iPhone cameras even better. The case and app were born out of a desire to be included in group photos of friends and family, enhance the phone's capacity for capturing videos, and expand the capabilities of everyone's most-used camera. CaseCam solves a problem faced by students, moms, dads, travelers, video bloggers, and anyone who uses their phone to snap group photos or take video.

The scenario is very familiar. You are with a bunch of friends or family, in a special, memorable place and you want to capture that moment, but no one is around to ask, "Hey, can you take our photo?" So you, the photographer, get left out of the photo. CaseCam puts everyone back #inthepicture.

CaseCam is also designed to make taking video simpler, allowing you to set your phone on any surface and just press play. "It makes taking video of my kids - at home or at events - easier and more enjoyable. I can make sure we've captured the memory for sharing later, while also being present in the moment versus holding my phone up and staring at it," said Justin Cicero, co-founder of CaseCam. The company also expects the case to become a favorite of video bloggers who will love having the opportunity to easily capture videos on-the-go with their phone.

CaseCam is coming to market via a KickStarter campaign, launching July 21st. Available for $25 to Early Bird buyers for the iPhone 5 and 5s, CaseCam will be delivered in December, prior to the holidays, providing a sturdy case with built in iPhone tripod. The CaseCam application will have features like a delayed shot timer and the ability to use a friend's phone as a Bluetooth remote trigger for taking a group photo from your phone. Additionally, with a shared WiFi connection, users can view a friend's phone to see what their CaseCam is seeing, allowing them to easily frame the shot. The Kickstarter campaign will fund the creation of the injection mold tooling used to create the durable polycarbonate case.

"CaseCam came out of two very different needs - one being a family guy who wanted to better capture memories with his kids, and me, a guy who takes lots of photos with friends but rarely ends up in the shot," said Garett Ochs, co-founder of CaseCam. "I'm excited to present this amazing solution and I invite anyone who shares this need to join our Kickstarter campaign and make sure that everyone gets in the picture!"
