City of Orange, NJ Mayor Dwayne D. Warren. Esq. Seeks Link Between Local Governments and White House Level Drug Reforms to Improve Public Education

    ORANGE TOWNSHIP, NJ, August 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mayor Dwayne D. Warren Esq. participated in a conference call with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy to discuss grant-funding opportunities and policy trends to align the City of Orange Township with federal-level reforms to improve the public awareness and education regarding (ATOD) Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs. During the call Mayor Warren discussed creating a link between local governments and President Obama's administration as it relates to national drug policy. Specifically, questioning how to strengthen communication and have direct access to information.

"This conference call is part of a larger community plan to improve the quality of life for all residents of the City of Orange Township while creating better neighborhoods. The municipality is working diligently to enhance education services, and provide safe and family friendly communities, said Mayor Warren. "This will be accomplished through partnerships, access to information and grant funding from various areas of the public and private sectors. The opportunity to discuss these issues with the White House and learn what trends the national policy will follow is invaluable to all that serve on the local level of government," he added.
