COMVERGENCE Ltd. Shareholders Approve the Spin Off of ESPRIT DATA Ltd. (Hong Kong)

    TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 23, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The spin off of ESPRIT DATA into an independent corporation based in Hong Kong was a response to concerns by virtual computer services customers in Europe and Asia about the security and privacy of their data and computer activities.

COMVERGENCE Ltd. is a privately held company incorporated in the State of Nevada, United States. Walt Anderson, a Director of COMVERGENCE Ltd. announced at the Special Shareholders Meeting held today in Washington DC, that a majority of shareholders had approved the proposal by the Board of Directors to spin off ESPRIT DATA Ltd.

ESPRIT DATA Ltd., as an independent corporate entity based in Hong Kong, will manage and operate the global network supporting the VCaaS system, to assure the privacy and security of customers data and information technology activities.. The Notice of Special meeting sent out to COMVERGENCE Ltd. Shareholders proposing the spin off of ESPRIT DATA, stated in part:

"Some prospective customers for virtual computer service have expressed concern relating to the privacy and security of their data when services are provided by a United States based corporation. There has been significant publicity recently, which has revealed that the United States Government has knowingly, intentionally and systematically violated the spirit and the letter of the law in relation to privacy."

ESPRIT DAT plans to operate the VCaaS (Virtual Computer as a Service) system from data centers in 3 geographically diverse locations outside of the United States. The criteria for the development of the VCaaS system was to be highly secure. The VCaaS platform meets that criteria. The system was was designed so that ONLY VCaaS customers would have access to their data files and "virtual desktop". The developers of VCaaS knew that a properly implemented and sufficiently strong Encryption algorithm could not be broken by any private of governmental organization in any reasonable time frame. VCaaS automates the implementation of encryption and security protocols, rapidly and transparently, so that the system is ONLY accessible to authorized users.

At the COMVERGENCE Ltd. Special Shareholder Meeting held today, Walt Anderson, a Director of COMVERGENCE stated "ESPRIT DATA was formed to give computer users of any size access to technologies that previously were only accessible to much larger organizations. These technologies will provide greater functionality and more security at a lower cost per user."
