Fremont Micro Devices Announces Alkon as Distributor in Russia

    FREMONT, CA, August 27, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fremont Micro Devices USA Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of Serial EEPROM and energy efficient power management integrated circuits, today announced that Alkon has been named to represent their Integrated Circuit product line in Russia. This addition to the FMD sales network continues to affirm its strategic initiative of providing customers with local design and engineering support, and easy access to their broad offering of semiconductor solutions.

Under the terms of the agreements, Alkon is an Authorized Distributor with a franchise to sell and support Fremont Micro Devices non-volatile memory and the power management product portfolio of linear and switching regulators, AC/DC controllers and LED driver solutions to OEM's in a wide range of industrial, commercial and consumer markets. Alkon is headquartered in St. Petersburg and has design centers in Kursk and Novosibirsk plus warehouse facilities in Moscow, Helsinki, Guangzhou and Shanghai China.
