The First African-American women to race in the coveted classes of NHRA Top Sportsman & Comp, ADRL Top Sportsman and NHRA Top Sportsman D2 continues to lead the race with the expansion of her "Cole Muscle Cars" brand from LA to the ATL.

"Scott and I have carefully developed a shop that is both reflective of my career accomplishment while offering our clients a true custom restoration experience ranging from race cars to Bentley's".

ATLANTA, GA, August 30, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicole Lyons, the first African-American female to race in the coveted classes of NHRA Top Sportsman & Comp, ADRL Top Sportsman and the only women to race NHRA Sportsman D2 has expanded her "Cole Muscle Cars" automotive restoration shop from Greater Los Angeles to open her second shop here in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. In partnership with NFL offensive tackle, Jonathan R. Scott, Lyons and Scott partnered to expand operations and offer a "reviving" alternative to custom automotive restoration.

No stranger to high performance and octane, Lyons became the first African-American women to finish a NASCAR Whelen Series race while both qualifying and finishing in the Top 10. Given her passion for racing and performance, Nicole selected to proceed forward with the next natural step in her career by developing and launching Cole Muscle Cars. Based in her native, Los Angeles, California; Cole Muscle Cars opened in 2005 and specialized in all things custom. Taking her award wining skills and capitalizing on her custom car building expertise, the launch of Cole Muscle Cars soared with numerous famed clientele while also being featured in the hit Fox / Speed TV reality show series "Car Warriors".

The success of Cole Muscle Cars, Los Angeles led her to the "New South" where Lyons expanded CMC's brand into the Atlanta Metropolitan area with business partner and automotive enthusiast, Jonathan R. Scott. Cole Muscle Cars - Atlanta officially opened it's doors in March 2014 catering to the classic, exotic and muscle automotive car enthusiast. Specializing in the highest level of restoration, Cole Muscle Cars - Atlanta offers specialty performance services in the areas of engine customization, interior design selection, body and paint enhancement, vinyl wrapping and race suspension; just to outline a few of the shops many services.

"This is not your typical automotive restoration shop," says Lyons. "Scott and I have carefully developed a shop that is both reflective of my career accomplishment while offering our clients a true custom restoration experience ranging from race cars to Bentley's".

In addition to offering superior automotive restoration services, Cole Muscle Cars - Atlanta is furthering it's services through the world of media and entertainment by offering this state-of-the-art, 6,500 square foot space for events, movie filming and music video opportunities.

"As the featured Engine Specialist for the Speed TV's "Car Warriors" - Season 1, I felt that it was only natural to open our shop up to the television, music and entertainment industries. The entertainment community is equally as much apart of my life as racing, so what better way to celebrate them both through one platform; that is both very personal and near to my heart".

Cole Muscle Cars - Atlanta continues to build and customize the most exclusive muscle, exotic and race cars while offering high performance applications, and superior collision services. CMC Atlanta is truly a playground for the most discerning car enthusiast.
