During the approximately twenty minute plus session, Lizcano, provides listeners with an overview of the historical highlights of the evolution of an expanded capacity of aerospace manufacturing and infrastructure in Mexico, from the turn of the century until the present, as well as examines the types of aerospace manufacturers that have opted to invest in this thriving sector of the Mexican economy. Lizcano identifies the geographical location of Mexico's major geographical groupings of aerospace manufacturers, or "clusters,' and notes the principle specialties and processes performed in each region.

In addition to addressing the growth drivers of aerospace manufacturing in Mexico, the general director of FEMIA, explains the underpinnings that have been put into place that have enabled Mexico to rise to become one of the principal global suppliers of aerspace parts to the United States.
