Duty and Duty focuses on social security disability and supplemental security income. The firm has also received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1994 and has been recognized for pre-eminence since 2010.

Mr. Duty has had 54 years of experience in law, including 7 years as a senior partner at Duty and Duty, founded in 1911. On a day-to-day basis, he works on Federal Court case in Arkansas and Oklahoma related to social security disability. He is licensed to practice in multiple Federal District Courts, the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal 8th and 10th Circuits, and before the United States Supreme Court. He attributes his success to his many years of hard work and dedication to excellence and professionalism.

In looking back, Mr. Duty became involved in his profession because it was a family tradition. Some of the highlights of his career include almost 10 years as an Administrative Law Judge with the United States Social Security Administration; appointment by the Arkansas Supreme Court to its practicum curriculum to teach ethics and professionalism to newly qualified attorneys; membership in Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity; membership in and former Board Member of the National Organization Social Security Claimants Representatives; and, recognition by the University of Arkansas School of Law and by the Arkansas Bar Association for 50 years of outstanding service before the bar.

Mr. Duty obtained his juris doctor degree from the University of Arkansas and studied international law as a Fulbright Scholar at the London School of Economics, London, England. He also maintains affiliations with the American Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry. In his spare time, Mr. Duty plays bagpipes professionally. In the years to come, he wants to continue helping people with disabilities.
