Baltimore Washington Eye Center-Clarksville Welcomes Andrew Hammer, M.D.

Baltimore Washington Eye Center is pleased to announce that eye physician and surgeon Andrew Hammer, M.D. will begin providing patient care for Columbia area patients at the Baltimore Washington Eye Center Clarksville, Maryland.

    BALTIMORE, MD, October 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Baltimore Washington Eye Center's Clarksville location is at the RiverHill Professional Center 6100 Day Long Lane, Clarksville, MD 21029. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Hammer sees patients for routine eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses as well as complex eye exams for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye problems.

An area of special interest to Dr. Hammer is laser cataract surgery and lens implantation using advanced technology lens implants that correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and the age related focusing problem of near vision presbyopia. Dr. Hammer takes a personal interest in helping patients with cataracts achieve their vision correction goals of seeing clearly without being dependent on glasses or contacts.
