NEW YORK, NY, October 31, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The New Kadampa Tradition, currently acting as the International Shugden Community, have been demonstrating against the Dalai Lama intermittently since 1996/1997, with subsequent demonstrations in 2008 and 2014. They have a world-wide network which enables them to demonstrate in many different countries. Their attacks have been particularly venomous, calling His Holiness "a liar," "a false Dalai Lama," and "the worst dictator in the world." These unwarranted statements are not substantiated by any non-governmental organization, such as Amnesty International, nor by Western Tibetan Buddhist scholars, like Dr. Robert Thurman of Columbia University.

Former members of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) have begun to speak out about these slanderous allegations and are providing documented, referenced information which refutes the claims made by the NKT. The goal of these ex-NKT members is to educate by offering accurate, undistorted and non-deceptive information to the general public.
