NEW YORK, NY, November 26, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Andrew Greenspan, a 22-year-old musician, composer, producer, and videographer, who is the Nyack, N.Y.-based proprietor of Red Ivory Recordings, will release his first collection of seven remarkable songs in an EP download titled "DayBreak."

The EP will be released via the Internet, both for free and, alternately, for purchase, via multiple music outlets, on December 2, 2014.

The songs of "DayBreak," expressed through acoustical keyboard and vocals, represent Greenspan's intense personal story of prodigious giftedness as a born musician, contrasted with his struggles against, and eventual triumph over, a case of misdiagnosed High-Functioning Autism (HFA), also often categorized as Asperger's Syndrome.

Greenspan, who is a classically trained musician, draws inspiration from such popular songwriting geniuses as Elton John, Billy Joel and Imagine Dragons, among others, and his first outing as a songwriter/performer echoes the poignancy and nuance of his musical heroes' work.

To accompany the release of the "DayBreak" EP, Greenspan has created a short narrative video, "My Story," which he shot, edited and narrates himself, detailing his story of conquest over the challenges he faced growing up, both as an outstanding musician and as a determined young man.

In the video, Greenspan promises that all proceeds from purchased copies of "DayBreak" will go toward the efforts of Autism Awareness, which seeks to disseminate information and insight among the families of those who struggle with Autism and its challenges.
