Progressive Rising Phoenix Press is an innovative non-traditional publisher founded by authors. We believe a co-op of authors working together is far more effective than working alone.

FORT WORTH, TX, December 03, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The word unbelievable defines the life of Dr. Harrison Miller Moseley. His grit, determination, and faith, exemplifies the good that can come from facing and surviving challenging circumstances.

Emerging from humble beginnings, Dr. Moseley grew up in north Texas during the Great Depression. He endured several tragedies during his lifetime, but his determination and unstoppable fortitude allowed him to carve out an incredible life for himself. He played on the 1938 Fort Worth Masonic Home and School football team. He was handpicked by Nathan Rosen to assist on the Manhattan Project, and returned home to teach at Texas Christian University as emeritus Professor of Physics for 40 years.

Acclaim for Unbelievable includes, " This book will contribute to the history of atomic power being developed and ultimately used for peaceful purposes." - Jimmy Carter, Former President of the United States

"This is the intimate true life story of Miller Moseley, a unique personality-an obscure Texas farm boy, orphaned in childhood, Masonic Home football standout, WWII scientist, and revered TCU Emeritus Professor of Physics-told by a close observer. With a remarkable sensitivity to colorful detail and an exceptional gift of verbal expression, first-time author, Stella Brooks shares with us this fascinating story." - Jim Wright, a Former Speaker of the House and author

Brooks found the inspiration to write this book, upon learning of a man of historical significance that she felt had gone unnoticed. After spending time with him, studying his personality and his life, she felt she was able to understand him, his choices, and his silence. She has two children and lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
