5 Steamy Date Nights IN: Time for a little Valentine's Romance

Tips for staying home for the holidays, this Valentine's Day!

CALGARY, AB, January 08, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Some of us don't have the freedom, budget, or the desire to go out on Valentine's. Some of us would rather stay home in our jammies for a romantic night in with a movie and popcorn, but when it's Valentine's day, you might feel like you need to get out of the house to spice things up.

Well, there's no need to go anywhere to spice up your Valentine's this year. It's easy to keep it steamy if you add a little effort, focus, and attention to your "date" night, no matter where you are.

Try out one of these "home date" nights for Valentine's, or anytime!

1. Massage Parlor. Pretend that your bedroom has been transformed into a relaxing massage spa. Dim lights, soft music, warm oil...

2. No Pants Party...for dinner. Make supper in the nude, or lingerie, or just with an apron. Have your partner wear only their "lingerie" too, and make sure they get to take in the dinner show, or help you out!

3. Strip Games- Play your favorite game together, and make up rules about who has to strip when, or put on a sexy strip show for your partner with costumes and music (Burlesque Baby!) Slowing down the pace, and increasing the anticipation for your evening!

4. Blind Dessert- Add a playful, sensual element to your dessert by using a blindfold. Have bite sized portions of your favorite treats, and feed them to your partner while they are blindfolded. Have them guess what you are feeding them. Heighten the other senses!

5. Bed (or Bath) Picnic. Transform your bed into a romantic night in! Add soft, plush pillows and fabrics to your bed. Cover your bed with a tablecloth, and "set" your bed for a delicious night in. Wine, chocolate, grapes, cheese, crackers. Light the candles, turn on some steamy tunes, and don't plan on leaving your bed for a while! This can also be done in the bathtub, which can really heat things up!

The element of surprise can be very lucrative in any relationship. Your partner will be expecting something on Valentine's, so why not plan something steamy the weekend before Valentine's, or even the night before? It's time to lock your door and get the party started at home.
