Beaver County Utah Commissioner Mark Whitney stated, "We have thousands of law enforcement personnel that are great and wonderful people, sometimes the profession gets a raw deal in the media, I think it's time we told them thanks." Piute County Utah Commissioner Darin Bushman stated, "These people work in a job that most wouldn't want nor would they have the courage to do, yet many are quick to second guess them and criticize their actions, I for one am grateful for each and everyone of them that work everyday to keep us safe and ensure our welfare." Iron County Commissioner David Miller said, "It is time to salute our great American heritage of self government, law and order and the many men and women who serve our communities, that may find themselves in harms way, for our benefit. I am grateful everyday for these civil servants."
