A.R Discovery International: Is American Entrepreneurship Dead or Alive?

With America currently ranked 12th among developed countries for entrepreneurship and start-up activity, direct marketing specialist A.R Discovery International investigates why other countries are thriving more than America.

JERSEY CITY, NJ, January 24, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For the first time in 35 years, since the measurement began, the U.S. Census Bureau reports that the total number of new start-up businesses has outpaced the number of business failures. While nationwide 400,000 new businesses are being born annually, 470,000 businesses are closing down. Up until seven years ago in 2008 start-up businesses had outpaced business failures by around 100,000 yearly. A.R Discovery International urge the government to offer greater support for small businesses, as they are the backbone of the American economy. The direct marketing firm suggests that there is much work to be done, considering that countries such as Hungary, Denmark, Finland, New Zealand, Sweden, Israel and Italy currently have much higher start-up rates than America.

In order to rank higher and compete with other countries, A.R Discovery International wish to see the U.S. government provide increasing support for small and medium sized businesses through funding schemes, easy-to-understand regulations and more information on entrepreneurship; similar to what other developed countries with increasingly high start-up rates have in place to support their small businesses. A.R Discovery International say that the government should act quickly in order to guarantee continuous economic growth in America. Currently six million businesses provide work for 100 million employees in the U.S. "With the well-being of small and medium sized businesses in the country, unemployment figures will decrease and consumer confidence grow. We can simply not afford not to support Americans businesses," say A.R Discovery International.

With the figures published by the U.S. Census Bureau, many Americans may assume that entrepreneurship is dead rather than alive. A.R Discovery International however strongly believe that Americans should not let this news stop them from launching their own business. "We want to see America thrive and get back in the top ten this year," say A.R Discovery International.
