Michael Cupo, Author of 'It's Monday Only In Your Mind: You Are Not Your Thoughts', Reveals The Real Cause Of Addiction And The Only Method That Will End All Addiction

Michael Cupo proposes that society does not clearly address the real cause of addiction. He has an understanding that all addictions can be overcome when that real cause is addressed and understood

WILMINGTON, NC, January 30, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A recent article on AZFamily.com entitled "Heroin addict worries she will die if she can't get clean" details Bianka Fisk's struggle with addiction. The article quotes her as saying, "The devil takes over, that's the only way I can explain it."

Michael Cupo, author of 'It's Monday Only In Your Mind' has been there and relates to this struggle. His experience has revealed, it's not the devil that makes one an addict - it's their own conditioning. He also knows the real issue that leads to a final cure is not being addressed by those in the field of addiction.

"Regardless of what occurs in one's life," Michael stated, "it doesn't make a person use drugs. It may seem as though it does, but it is only ones 'conditioned mind' that makes this appear to be so. What's happens in life happens, good, bad, or indifferent, but as one allows what happens in the past to control one in the present, a void is created and this is why the 'need' to reach for any substance occurs.

At the core of all addictions, regardless of what's used, is a self centered perspective. And until this truth is seen, one will always have the need to reach for something to satisfy this created void. This goes against what many in the addiction field believe and what is engrained in our society. This is a bold statement, but it can be backed up, this is not just idle chatter.

It is through the understanding of one's own mind that the ultimate truth of this can be revealed. This truth allows one to break free from one's self centered perspective and see that nothing is needed to fill a false, self created void. One is complete just as they are, this just isn't understood or known. This is the reality of all addictions. When this is understood the reaching ends because there is no longer a void to fill.

Without a self centered perspective, reaching for a substance or anything else wouldn't occur. Why does the need to alter the way one feels occur in the first place? It's because of that self-centered perspective, which is at the root of any addiction. This is why one reaches outside themselves to begin with. There can't be an addiction if the need to use something isn't there.

If society really wants addiction to end we must address the real issue. Until the real problem is addressed, addiction will never end. People will continue to die and suffer because of the ignorance of those in control of the information being put out to the public. Freedom from a self centered perspective is the only truth one needs to break free from the hold of addiction. This is the freedom from the bondage of self. This one and only truth will eventually be seen and that's when the heroin epidemic and all addictions will cease.

Programs don't change people, therapy doesn't change people, an outward God doesn't change people. These may assist in some way, but the reality of any change referenced to addiction is not to be self centered. An inward quietness needs to be established, which will assist immensely in one's transformation. Some call this God, but I'm not talking about outward change, that is society's gauge. Real change takes place inside - this is where Universal Love dwells.

The truth? It is one's own conditioned mind that causes addiction. Once the conditioning is no more, one's addictive behaviors will be no more."

It is this truth that Michael Cupo offers to readers in 'It's Monday Only In Your Mind: You Are Not Your Thoughts'. He takes a very unique approach in the presentation of the method. That message has resonated with readers, many of whom have responded enthusiastically.

One reader recently stated, "Your written experience has influenced me more than any book I have read, what my M.A. in psych has taught me, 16 years of on/off therapy, Byron Katie workshops, personal interaction with Phil Lombardo, Shakti Gawain, Bob Stahl, Louise Hays and various Hay House authors that I personally know who have directed me towards my true being of love. There hasn't been a need to see my therapist for 6 weeks. I am looking forward to a new relationship with him and with myself. Thank you so much for discovering the truth and sharing it with the world. Without meeting you, I believe you are my friend."

Although he had a very good upbringing as a child, he always seemed to struggle with life and for reasons unbeknownst to him, he was always in trouble. He drank alcoholically, gambled, abused drugs and painkillers. He bounced from relationship to relationship. Until one day that all changed

The transformation is shared in 'It's Monday Only in Your Mind: You are Not Your Thoughts'. His credentials for writing this book are that he lives this change each day. His view of life is so different from the way it use to be. Through the practice outlined in his book he has learned to allow his mind to quiet enough which has allowed his heart to open. The quieter the mind becomes the more love becomes the default setting of ones life. This is truly a modern-day miracle, a miracle that can happen to anyone who has the desire to do what is necessary to allow this ''instant transformation" to occur.

There are also hundreds of articles written by Michael featured in a Wordpress blog, LinkedIn, Twitter, and in a Facebook group titled after his book that addresses a wide range of issues that deal with real life everyday situations. Michael writes and posts a new article daily.
