Poor Communications Poses Massive Risk to SMEs Claims Ventas Central

After a recent study revealed that SMEs are struggling to manage their cross-channel communications, Ventas Central, a London based marketing firm are urging businesses to review the effectiveness and efficiency of their communication process.



    LONDON, ENGLAND, February 01, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A recent study commissioned by Neopost and conducted by Opinionway into the communication capabilities of SMEs found that the majority of UK SMEs are experiencing at least one problem within their cross channel communications. The study identified 3 key problems effecting communication. Of the 280 SMEs surveyed 47% considered time wasting to be the biggest challenge they faced whilst communicating with customers, 45% claimed the risk of human error was a major concern and 51% noted that they found it difficult to accurately record communications across all channels.

The survey also found that on average, small businesses generate 641 documents a month, 59 percent of these documents produced use both physical and digital channels for general correspondence. However sales and marketing firm Ventas Central believe that more could be done to align these forms of communication and streamline these processes to reduce the amount of time being wasted and improve the level of communication for customers.
