CorAnet Corp CEO Margaret Marcucci Wins Star Award from Women Presidents' Educational Association

Award Reflects CorAnet's Commitment to Working with Fellow Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) and Corporate Sponsors

We deeply believe in the ability of women-owned businesses like ours to grow and contribute to the betterment of society.

NEW YORK, NY, March 18, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Women Presidents' Educational Organization (WPEO) has honored CorAnet's CEO Margaret Marcucci with its STAR award. The WPEO Star Award recognizes outstanding WPEO-certified WBEs that have actively participated in WPEO programs and events, supported other women in business, and developed innovative solutions for doing business with Corporate Members and other WBEs.

WPEO honored Ms. Marcucci and the other winners at its Annual Awards Breakfast on March 6th in Manhattan. In addition, Ms. Marcucci will be recognized nationally as a WBENC Business Star--the nation's premier award for excellence among WBEs--at WBENC's annual Summit & Salute to Women's Business Enterprises in March 2016.

The award reflects CorAnet's accomplishments in successfully connecting and forging new relationships with WBE's. As CEO, Marcucci places a high priority on supporting other woman-owned businesses. According to Marcucci, "We believe that each of our WBEs can help one another and in effect impact the lives of their many employees, family members, and communities. Many of our WBE partners, like CorAnet, focus on technology or infrastructure services where women have not been historically thought of as the top business leaders. We have proven that women can partner together for profitable growth and increased market share. In 2014, for example, we forged many successful partnerships with WBEs."

The Star award is the latest of several recent honors for CorAnet and Ms. Marcucci:

- Winning the 2014 Done Deals Access New York City Award and WBE Done Deals Champion Award from the WPEO
- Winning SmartCEO's 2014 Small Business Awards in the Supplier Diversity Category
- Being named one of New Jersey's 2014 Top 50 Women in Business, according to NJBIZ Magazine
- Representing WPEO on the prestigious WBENC Women's Enterprise Leadership Forum
- Being named as one of the Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs in New Jersey by the Leading Women Entrepreneur's (LWE) initiative.
