Dr. Chattar-Cora is one of San Antonio's most gifted board-certified plastic surgeons. He was born in New York City, where he earned his bachelor's degree at Sarah Lawrence College. He later completed his medical education at the New York University School of Medicine. After gaining interest in the field of surgery, Dr. Chattar-Cora spent five years in New Jersey completing his general surgery residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Finally, after completing a fellowship at the Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an additional three years of training in plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, to further refine his techniques, he spent one additional year of training in hand and microsurgery. After completing more than a decade of surgical training, Dr. Dee was an assistant professor of both plastic and reconstructive surgery and orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for more than five years.
