HERS Magazine Features Females Producing Big Bucks and Buns

HERS magazine has released its new issue highlighting recent female filmmakers, interviews with women who get dirty, exclusive fashion spreads and its surprising reader poll on butt enhancements.



    ATLANTA, GA, March 21, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- HERS magazine has released its new issue highlighting the 20 female filmmakers who collectively earned more than $1 billion worldwide since 2014. The captivating cover collage of directors includes Jennifer Lee ("Frozen"), Angelina Jolie ("Unbroken"), Ava DuVernay ("Selma") and Sam Taylor-Johnson ("Fifty Shades of Grey").

The magazine's fifth issue since its May 2014, it also touches on social trends, as well as pop culture. "The Beauty and Business of Big Booties" not only provides insight into America's newest obsession with the derriere, but also analyzes the history of the beauty of booty. The magazine's reader poll found that 87 percent of women find that a plump booty is important. However, more than 50 percent of women would never consider getting buttock enhancements. Of the celebrities who have had butt enhancements, Iggy Azalea is considered the most appealing (38%) followed by Kim Kardashian (31%).

In the article, HERS editor, Annette Johnson, says, "[Women], nevertheless, allow society to define our worth most profoundly based on our looks. Thus, the woman with the best and biggest body part wins in the attention category."

A feature on "Women Who Get Dirty, profiling women working in male-dominated fields, includes an interview with Bernice of truTV's "South Beach Tow." She talks about her future on television and why she love Oprah, Queen Latifah and Beyonce. Gloria Govan, formerly of "Basketball Wives: LA" and estranged wife of Matt Barnes, has an exclusive beach-inspired fashion spread.
