Adrian L. Leday Selected as a Professional of the Year in Education Administration

    GARLAND, TX, April 07, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adrian L. Leday, Assistant Principal at Rowlett High School for the Garland Independent School District, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in education. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Mr. Leday possesses an expertise in the area of mathematics instruction and attributes his success to the support he received from his mother, who was a teacher and principal. His excellence also earned him a VIP designation with Worldwide Branding in 2011. He holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics and a plus 30 in education administration from Texas A&M University - Commerce and is currently seeking a doctorate in Educational Administration from the same institution. In his position for the past seven years as an assistant principal for Rowlett High School in the Garland Independent School District, he is tasked with supervising the science and career technology departments, acting as a volunteer coordinator for the school, coordinating state and national testing for the campus, and administering discipline to a section of students.

He became involved in his position because he felt that administration would enable him to be more proactive in ensuring the students' success in school, and brings 16 years of experience to the district. Professionally, he is affiliated with Texas Association of Secondary School Principals and is the Director of Education for the Omicron Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Outside of his professional duties, he is a deacon and choir director at his local church. A happily married husband and the proud father of a 7-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy, in the coming years, Mr. Leday hopes to become either a building principal at the middle or high school levels or the coordinator of mathematics instruction.
