Recently released in its 400-page fourth edition, this classic text has also been welcomed in Japanese and Spanish.
Dr. Seibel became involved in his profession because he felt a genuine calling to help positively impact lives. In addition to his popular textbook, he has also invented 20 eye surgery instruments that are used internationally. Dr. Seibel is the first Southern California eye surgeon to have performed cataract surgery with the femtosecond laser that offers patients enhanced precision and accuracy; he was a member of the select team in Silicon Valley that developed and patented this revolutionary technology.
Professionally, Dr. Seibel is affiliated with the exclusive International Intra-Ocular Implant Club, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. His undergraduate degree was earned at Rice University, and ophthalmology residency at USC Doheny Eye Institute.
Recently, Dr. Seibel was inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains an affiliation with the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
