OLD LYME, CT, April 30, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sennheiser, a leading manufacturer of premium headset solutions, announces that it has signed an agreement with Run Distribution, a major regional distribution company servicing the telecommunications market. Run is a channel-focused distributor of VoIP hardware and solutions with a customer base of close to 1,200 resellers in the Quebec area.
In addition to its effort to strengthen its presence in Quebec, Sennheiser is happy to partner with Run Distribution due to its relationship with Yealink, a provider of VoIP and SIP-based phones and one of the key hardware brands that Run supplies to the channel. Sennheiser's line of contact center and office headsets integrate with the Yealink handsets, creating a seamless high-performance telephony solution for quality unified communications (UC) environments.
"Our agreement with Run Distribution will help us better support our customers and enhance penetration in that region," said Michael Wyman, national sales manager, telecommunications, Sennheiser Canada. "Durability and audio quality are an integral part of a sophisticated VoIP system. Run Distribution's extensive network of reseller partners will help Sennheiser deliver outstanding durability and voice clarity throughout this region. Their customer base is also positioned to help Sennheiser advance the standards of audio quality in business communities throughout Quebec."
"We're excited to be working with Sennheiser as audio quality becomes increasingly important in busy office environments," said Ryan Mayoff, vice president of sales at Run Distribution. "The company's portfolio of wired, wireless, DECT and Bluetooth headsets raise the bar in the unified communications marketplace. Together we'll present the Quebec marketplace with UC headsets whose level of reliability will become a mainstay in a state-of-the-art contact center."
Sennheiser models for the contact center and office environments include the new D 10 Series, in addition to the SD wireless, Century, Circle, Culture, MB and PRESENCE headsets; plus Sennheiser's new SP 10 and SP 20 speakerphones for unified communications.
