KitNipBox to Exhibit at First Annual CatCon LA Expo and Symposium on June 6th and 7th

The first-of-its-kind event will take place on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th at The Reef LA, formerly known as the LA Mart Building, in central Los Angeles. CatCon LA sets out to celebrate groundbreaking products and ideas in art and design, pop culture and attitude, all for the growing population of cat lovers worldwide. Blending different aspects of an expo and a symposium, it will showcase the world's top, cat-centric merchandise, including furniture, art, toys, and clothing.

Raffle prizes will consist of various boxes, with 100% of ticket proceeds donated to Best Friends Animal Society, a local LA shelter. A fun kitty frame and props will be available for attendees to take photos with, along with additional promo materials for guests to take home.

One of the company's 2015 initiatives is to make its monthly boxes geo-themed, with components from a different city each month and a portion of the proceeds from each box sold donated to a local shelter in that city. Announced just in time for CatCon LA, KitNipBox has its August box themed around Los Angeles with beach-themed toys, treats, and more. The Los Angeles box will be available for purchase online starting July 15th, 2015.

The event will feature a series of speakers over the weekend, including Mike Bridavsky, agent to the Internet-famous kitty, Lil BUB, and Simon Tofield, creator the popular cartoon "Simon's Cat." Other speakers include writers, editors, social influencers, and other feline experts that will cover topics related to the growing cat culture across the globe.
