Jonathan Berke, Creator of the Famed Sigalert Traffic System, to Speak at ITS America's Annual Meeting and Launch His New Audio-based Information Sharing Smartphone App "Shout To Me"

    PITTSBURGH, PA, May 31, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jonathan Berke, 25-year veteran of high tech industries and creator of Sigalert (now part of Clear Channel) will be one of the key speakers at the 25th Annual ITS America Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Berke will be part of an esteemed group of presenters sharing information and best practices in the areas of technology and traffic management.

A key part of Mr. Berke's presentation will introducing Shout To Me, a revolutionary new audio-based smartphone mobile application that is now available in the Apple App Store.

Shout To Me's hands-free interface enables users to hear and talk to people around them utilizing natural language technology to allow for a driver's hands to continue to do things they're designed to do, like driving or eating the best burger in town!

Now for the first time, Shout To Me users can 'shout' aboutwhat's occurring around them like breaking news, traffic conditions and weather information, turning anyone with a mobile phone into a roving reporter.

Shout To Me creates a hyperlocal community of users helping each other with meaningful information to ease their commute. Public transportation agencies can participate in this community by both listening to user-generated shouts and sending shouts to mobile users, offering targeted assistance and asking for eyes-on information.

Key features of the Shout To Me app include a natural language voice interface allowing users to speak normally, as if having a simple conversation, a scanner page that allows users to listen to shouts from other users around them, a convenient map showing the locations of other shouts in the city as well as a profile page showing the number of shouts the user recorded, how many of those shouts were heard by others and how many were played on local TV and radio.

The Android version of the Shout To Me App will be available in the Google Play Store within a few weeks.
