FORT WORTH, TX, June 11, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The National Alliance for Dog Breeding Reform (NADBR) has come a long way since its first organizational meeting in Fort Worth in January of 2015.

It has recruited a board of directors and filled key positions with entrepreneurs, executives, veterinarians, dog rescue volunteers and reputable dog breeders--all in pursuit of its mission to improve dog breeding for the dogs.

Based in Texas, nonprofit NADBR is focused on reforming dog breeding in the United States. The organization is building a following on social media and recruiting volunteers to build a fact-checked wiki of U.S. state and federal dog breeding laws.

NADBR Founder and Sr. VP Ron Sturgeon said, "We are eager to work with all of the stakeholders, rescue, reputable breeders, animal husbandry experts, veterinarians and dog lovers to improve dog breeding."

Lazhar Ichir, the London-based entrepreneur who operates BreedingBusiness.com, an online news site for dog breeders, approached NADBR about doing a Q&A.

"We've had several questions from community members about NADBR and thought we should ask the questions breeders have about the group," said Ichir.

The Q&A with the dog breeding reform and canine auction reform group has been shared more than 700 times in the ten days since it was posted on BreedingBusiness.com on May 31.
