Aircraft Management Group, Inc. Announces New Chief Pilot Robert Phillips

    PITTSBURGH, PA, July 23, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Aircraft Management Group, Inc., a provider of aircraft management and consulting services, as well as private aircraft charter through their AMG Jets division, is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert Phillips to Chief Pilot.

Robert started his flying career in high school at the Arnold Palmer regional airport in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He went to school at the Community College of Beaver County for a professional pilot program and transferred to Clarion University of Pennsylvania where he graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Robert worked as a flight instructor during and after college at Clarion County & DuBois Regional Airports before leaving aviation for a few years to pursue a career as a Pennsylvania State Trooper, which he resigned from in 2008 to return to his true passion, aviation.

Robert worked for several regional airlines and one cargo company from 2008-2012 when he decided he wanted to make the move into business aviation.

Robert was hired at Aircraft Management Group, Inc. in December 2012 as a Beechjet Captain. He took on more responsibility and became the company's Check Airman in 2014. Because of his leadership skills and dedication to the company he was promoted to Chief Pilot in July 2015.
