New Deal Voted Portland's Best Local Distillery

    PORTLAND, OR, July 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The results of the Willamette Week Best of Portland Reader's Poll were just published, and New Deal Distillery was voted Best Local Distillery in Portland for 2015.

Willamette Week writes, "One of Portland's oldest distilleries, New Deal shows the world just how great chocolate-infused vodka and dry gin can be. Also, drink the Hot Monkey pepper-flavored vodka."

After 30 years of publishing the annual Best of Portland list, the local weekly newspaper decided to give their readers a say about the many things in Portland that they love best. They asked readers to vote for their favorite pizza, band, veterinarian, hiking trails, and local distillery, among hundreds of other categories. Nearly 18,000 readers voted in the poll, and the winners were listed in the 30th Annual Best of Portland issue.

New Deal Distillery has been making high quality, craft-distilled spirits, inspired by the DIY spirit of Portland, Oregon since 2004. All of their artisan spirits are made locally in small batches with Bull Run water and natural and organic ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible.

New Deal's on-site distillery and tasting room are located in Distillery Row, in the heart of Portland's vibrant Southeast Industrial District.
