Timberline Mechanical Completes Design-Build of Avery Brewing Company Steam Plant and Chiller Water Plant

Timberline Mechanical, Colorado's premier HVAC services company, recently completed two mission-critical infrastructure projects for Avery Brewing Company.

BOULDER, CO, July 26, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Timberline Mechanical, Colorado's premier HVAC services company, recently completed two mission-critical infrastructure projects for Avery Brewing Company. The project included the engineering and construction of Avery's new steam plant and chiller water plant as part of the legendary brewer's move into larger facilities to accommodate its rapid growth.

In order to reduce costs and assure a seamless end-to-end integration of the project, Timberline was hired to provide the initial design and engineering, which was later finalized by an independent engineering firm. Timberline helped Avery identify the size and design of the steam plant boilers to accommodate not just its current needs, but also its projected future capacity requirements.

By coordinating the sourcing of the boilers from the manufacturer, designing and installing the piping, and overseeing compliance with the City of Boulder--including an important code variant--Timberline was able to provide Avery with a single point of contact and accountability for the entire project.

"Our ability to provide design and engineering services prior to installing a system saves our customers a lot of money and a lot of time," said Timberline co-founder John Kuepper. "It all begins by listening to the customer, understanding their business and then providing innovative solutions customized around their needs."

The new steam plant and chilled water plant were the most recent in a long series of projects that Timberline has produced for Avery. Over the past several years, Timberline has served as the brewery's HVAC partner as it grew--and eventually outgrew--its old facilities, and moved to its new 96,000 sq ft location at 4910 North Nautilus Court in Boulder.

"Our unique expertise in steam and hydronic systems will help Avery maximize its return on investment in the new plant," said Andrew White, co-founder and lead engineer for Timberline. From pre-insulated chilled water piping to energy efficient technologies throughout the plant, we found numerous ways to make installation less complicated and future maintenance less expensive."
