Real Ayurveda: Teaching Mind-Body Healing for 20 Years

Ancient art has become popular treatment modality.

NEVADA CITY, CA, August 22, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- From a small office in a garage, to a compact training center and then an expanded 13,500 sq. ft.+ facility, set in a jewel-like garden, California College of Ayurveda has stayed true to its founding concepts of teaching the ancient wisdom and practices of Ayurveda for wellness, healing and longevity. Today, more than ever, medical practitioners and those seeking careers in healing are looking to this well-recognized ancient path for wellness and holistic living.

Ayurveda, which literally means "The Science of Life," is the traditional healing science of India. More than 5,000 years old, the time honored traditional knowledge of Ayurveda is just as relevant to modern society today and has helped millions of individuals to return to optimal health.

At this writing, over 1,500 graduates have completed advanced studies at CCA, significantly contributing to holistic healing modalities globally.

"Our 20th Anniversary Celebration and Open House is intended as a gesture of gratitude and an open invitation to learn more about Ayurveda and integrated, holistic healthy living practices." notes founder, Dr. Marc Halpern.
