The Breast Cancer Research Foundation has a stellar reputation, and this is a unique opportunity to raise money and awareness.
ST. LOUIS, MO, September 24, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Solus Group, a leading online warehouse equipment supplier, will join the fight against breast cancer with a unique fundraising event in October.
The company will operate the Lifting for Life auction through 3:00 PM CST on October 26th, 2015, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The online auction features the BHS LT4K-24-48, a one-of-a-kind scissor lift table with a pink powder coat finish. All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and curing breast cancer.
Solus Group partnered with Battery Handling Systems, Inc. and hydraulics manufacturer John Henry Foster to bring this distinctive lift table to the auction block.
"We wanted to do something different this October," said Jennifer Taylor, Marketing Manager at Solus Group. "The Breast Cancer Research Foundation has a stellar reputation, and this is a unique opportunity to raise money and awareness. We've never sold a pink lift table before, and I don't think we'll get too many other opportunities."
The Lifting for Life pink scissor lift table features all of the benefits of the standard BHS LT4K-24-48, with a special pink powder-coated finish to raise awareness for the cause. This lift table provides valuable ergonomic benefits along with a powerful 4,000 pound lifting capacity, and meets all ANSI standards for industrial scissor lifts.
The lift table's closed hydraulic circuits and braided wire lines provide industry-leading strength and durability. Scissor Lift Tables from Solus Group also make ideal variable-height work stations, which help to prevent musculoskeletal disorders by positioning work within each staff member's ergonomic power zone.
The BCRF is a dedicated nonprofit that awards grants for medical research aimed at eliminating breast cancer. Founded in 1993, the BCRF has channeled over half a billion dollars into leading studies -- a full 88 percent of the Foundation's income.
"We're hoping for a lot of early bids, and we're proud to do our part for a great cause," said Taylor. "I think the Lifting for Life table has symbolic power to match its lifting capacity."
