DayOne Consulting Entrepreneurial Landscape Assessment Results in Action to Build Entrepreneur Center in Flower Mound, Texas

    FLOWER MOUND, TX, October 21, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On October 5, 2015, DayOne Consulting LLC was approved by the Town of Flower Mound to proceed with the development and buildout of a local Entrepreneur Center. The center, named Flower Mound Innovate at Parker Square, will be located in the iconic 600 building of the Parker Square office and retail development.

The center will provide a space for local entrepreneurs to connect and find synergies as well as have access to mentors, programs, resources, and investors.

In March 2015 the Town of Flower Mound contracted professional services with DayOne Consulting LLC. DayOne Consulting is a firm that specializes in assessing local entrepreneurial landscapes and building actionable strategies for municipalities to implement as part of their overall economic development plan. DayOne delivered its assessment study and plan in June, with findings that recommended the creation of a local Entrepreneur Center.

The Town Council on October 5th approved a 3-year lease agreement with Parker Square and a continued professional services agreement with DayOne Consulting. DayOne will provide ongoing consulting to the Town of Flower Mound, delivering strategies for the Town to continue to help foster and facilitate local entrepreneurs to achieve success. The professional services agreement also includes management services where DayOne will be responsible for executing the implementation and operations for the entrepreneur center for the first 3 years.
