Delphian School Alumni Weekend Kicks Off 40th Anniversary

    SHERIDAN, OR, November 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- October 16th saw the beginning of the Delphian School's Alumni Weekend, a three-day celebration of all the students that have studied at or graduated from the Willamette Valley's premiere boarding school. As hundreds of alumni arrived and were warmly welcomed by faculty and friends, the school officially kicked off the 40th anniversary of its founding.

The Delphian School first opened the doors to its innovative program in 1976, and it has events scheduled throughout the school year to commemorate the occasion. The first of these, Alumni Weekend is always a popular event at the beginning of the year as both old and new alumni meet each other for the first time and take in all the activities the weekend has to offer.

While the weekend is a chance to roast returning 10-year alumni and to celebrate with friends long into the night, it's also a chance for all alumni to give back to the current students of the school that gave them so much. By delivering seminars on their areas of professional expertise and giving advice on how they advanced through their own studies, alumni are able to help the next generation of students make their way toward becoming graduates.

Alumni Weekend was just the first event in what is shaping up to be an exciting 40th anniversary year for the Delphian School.
