Using Instant Messaging technology, the Otoy engine will add to the rich media features of desktop alert engine tool Yummy Dapps .

    / - SAN DIEGO, CA (March 14, 2005) - Bringing a versatile instant-message-based game engine to the next generation of desktop housing applications, Yummy Media Productions, LLC., announced that it's signed an agreement with Los Angeles-based JulesWorld LLC for license rights to use the Otoy game engine as a development platform for its flagship product Yummy Dapps .

Developers have been trying to figure out ways to turn instant messaging into a multipronged medium that goes beyond mere chat; JulesWorld has done this with Otoy, a versatile and dynamic online game engine that leverages instant messaging for a multitude of purposes.
Formed in 2004, Yummy Media creates rich media desktop alert engine communications for companies and organizations. "Otoy opens up a world of development possibilities for us," said Jim Lennox, Chief Operating Officer for Yummy Media. "It brings hyper-functionality to our Yummy Dapps including Internet messaging videoconferencing and Otoy games."
