App 'mili' launched that Checks Stress and Fatigue Levels with Voice

develRock has launched 'mili', a voice emotion app that can analyze users' emotional states via voice over the phone.

SEOUL, KOREA, November 17, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- develRock (CEO Lee Sang-min, develrock.co.kr) has launched 'mili', a voice emotion app that can analyze users' emotional states via voice over the phone. 'mili' is a voice analyzing app that tells users their emotional states after a voice call. It analyzes the voice's tone and speed.

'mili' visually shows emotional states by comparing and analyzing each individual's voice, all by utilizing big data. After it is installed, the app automatically analyzes users' voices when they are talking on the phone. It shows stress, emotion, and fatigue levels of the users and the person on the other end of the line.

Another advantage of 'mili' is that users can receive actionable advices. If a user needs to get rid of stress, 'mili' recommends good music and exercises. The app also integrates data results and provides a weekly emotional state report.

In developing the 'mili' app, develRock analyzed and digitized big data -- based on over 70,000 voice recordings on the phone. In addition, the company increased the app's accuracy by analyzing voice data of about 5,000 people via beta service.

As each voice has its own unique characteristics, the longer one uses the app -- as it accumulates voice data -- the more accurate it will become. develRock owns a patent for the algorithm that converts voice data to emotional data.

develRock's big data can be applied to various other services. They include "Greenlight" service, which checks the likability of a person via his or her voice, "Music Recommendation" service, which suggests the best songs related to one's emotional state, and "Shopping Item Recommendation" service, which suggests certain items based on one's feelings.

develRock CEO Lee Sang-min said: "I would like people to have fun with 'mili'. I also want to help people figure out their own mind and other people's minds. Like sports wearable devices that help users keep fit and healthy, 'mili' is an app that helps keep a healthy mind."

Currently, the app can be downloaded on Google Play. An emotional state sharing service and a therapist recommendation service will be integrated to the official version, and is scheduled to be launched at the end of this month.
