Smith Douglas Homes Brings Home Two Gold OBIES at the 2015 OBIE Awards

    ATLANTA, GA, November 23, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Smith Douglas Homes is incredibly proud to announce that two of their own have represented the Smith Douglas family well by winning two Gold OBIEs at the 2015 OBIE Awards.

The OBIE awards, named for the obelisk shape of the award itself, are presented every November by the Sales and Marketing Council of the HBA. The awards showcase the accomplishments and achievements in over 100 categories, ranging from building and remodeling to marketing to personal achievements.

Jorge Tello and Jaclyn Riddle brought home a Gold OBIE for "Sales Team of the Year" for their outstanding work in the Woodward Crossing community in Buford, GA. Smith Douglas Homes is incredibly proud of this dynamic duo, as their sales numbers over the past year were phenomenal. The sales team grossed 58 sales, of which 34 closed and only 4 canceled for a total of 54 net sales in the past year. The sales volume for these homes since June of 2014 was $12,053,787.

In addition to winning "Sales Team of the Year", Jorge Tello brought home another Gold OBIE for "Rookie Salesperson of the Year".

The sales numbers garnered by both Jorge and Jaclyn have contributed to the builder's sales goals that resulted in a record year for Smith Douglas Homes. Their excellent work in the Woodward Crossing community helped propel Smith Douglas Homes into the list of top 10 fastest growing builders in the country.
