About Sammer Mudawar, Broker Partner at RE/MAX Prestige:
Nothing worth building will come without great personal sacrifice...
Broker Sammer Mudawar founded RE/MAX Prestige out of the ashes of the economic crash. Starting on the ground floor and no other agents, Sammer's vision was to build a brokerage of quality professionals who craved an environment they could grow and thrive in alongside modern innovation. Seeking to always represent the best interest of the client, Sammer's philosophy coupled with his determination and forward thinking approach have resulted in the RE/MAX Prestige brokerage becoming one of the most desired group of real estate professionals to work alongside in Orange County.

"Real estate transactions are one of the most stressful events in a person's life; the last thing anyone needs is additional stress from a Broker who is not there to support, protect, and advocate for them throughout the process," says Sammer.

As the managing Broker of RE/MAX Prestige, he works with his clients by referral only to ensure he can deliver the level of service every transaction requires and deserves. His background in real estate is diverse and includes experience in appraisals, loans, and now brokerage ownership. His portfolio of transactions includes everything from complex probate sales to short sales and multi-million dream home purchases. He takes great pride in coaching and training the future talent of the real estate industry and continues to cultivate an environment of excellence through innovation.

A proud father and husband, Sammer's wife and family are his motivation. He feels blessed to be able to lead as an example for others and strives to develop long lasting relationships with all of his clients. He truly believes that he has one of the most rewarding careers, as helping people with their real estate portfolio and assets is the foundation of every person's life.

About Jay O'Brien, REALTOR and Managing Partner at RE/MAX Prestige:
In 2011, Jay was driving home from his unfulfilling, corporate job that he had desperately been trying to escape when a friend of his suggested he contact Sammer Mudawar (Broker/Owner RE/MAX Prestige) who was opening up his own real estate brokerage. In doing so, he quickly identified with Sammer's drive and desire to create a platform for other like-minded entrepreneur's to pursue their goals. This candid conversation, in which Sammer shared his vision for his company, inspired Jay to commit to joining Sammer's team with a goal of becoming the #1 agent within a few months.

Devising a plan of action to segue into the real estate industry, one which is commission-based, meant Jay had to leave the comfort of his salaried position and make sacrifices in order to gain traction in his new career. However, these sacrifices allowed him to pursue his passion and offered him the opportunities for wealth development he'd been seeking. Over the next few months his commitment was tested as he declined two 6-figure income opportunities, humbly reclaimed his old retail management job for stability, and worked tirelessly around the clock for almost a year. Jay recalls setting up his schedule on the weekends at his "day job" to be 2pm-10:30pm in order to fit in an 8-hour day of real estate prior to his shift, beginning at 6am. These 12-16 hour workdays eventually came to a halt when he realized he was running to his car every 20 minutes to fire up a laptop, power on his internet card, and tend to a real estate deal while clocked in at his retail job.

During those initial months of grueling hard work, Jay closed 3 transactions. Soon after leaving the safety net, he closed a further 14 transactions in just over 6 months. In less than a year, he had finally earned his desired 6-figure income, doing something he loved. Today, he is proud to be paving the way for a new generation of REALTOR , cultivating new industry standards and best practices for the industry's evolution.
