HARRISBURG, PA, January 20, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Claudia Moreno Williams, President, The Human Zone LLC, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Claudia Moreno Williams will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Dis-tinction Magazine in 2015/2016.

The Human Zone is based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and provides strategic, HR support for talent management. Aimed at build-ing better leaders and a more engaged workforce, The Human Zone PA, focuses on the people so the organization can focus on delivering results.

Founded by Claudia Moreno Williams, her firm focuses on people management, which is more than just performance management. Great people make companies great. Williams works to ensure her clients maximize their opportunities in hiring, onboarding, reten-tion/development/training, performance management, succession planning and voluntary/involuntary separation. She also conducts independent investigations and assists with workplace policies.

"I love helping my clients solve problems," Williams said. "An advisor doesn't tell a client what to do, she helps the client identify all potential options and outcomes so the client can make the most informed decision possible. By seeing a situation through to the end, I am able to see the impact my work has on my clients, and my clients are able to see the value in what my unique background and experience brings to the table."

Prior to founding The Human Zone, Williams served as Associate General Counsel, Global HR & Litigation, for The Hershey Company, an $8 billion global CPG company. There, she led the law department's labor and employment legal team to support the global needs of the human resources organization, and led the law department's litigation team, with responsibility for managing the company's global litigation portfolio. Williams also worked closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and other HR leaders, providing support and advice on organizational HR initiatives, goals, processes, procedures and enterprise risk management. She provided guidance and information to the company's senior-most leaders, corporate board of directors and various committees as well. She has more than 12 years of experience helping clients navigate through challenging situations, providing strategic support to the C-Suite and corporate board of directors.

Earning her BA in History at Pennsylvania State University, Williams then completed her JD at The Dickinson School of Law. Williams is a member of Leadership Harrisburg's Executive Leadership Series Class of 2015. She received the Pennsylvania State Bar Association 2015 Special Achievement Award in recognition of her pro bono commitment to veterans and first responders. She also was named as one of the Central Penn Business Journal's 25 Women of Influence and was selected for inclusion in the 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012 issues of 'Philadelphia Magazine's' Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars Edition.
