The Voiceover Industry is Making Some Noise and Atlanta is Leading the Charge with The Announcement of the 4th Annual Voiceover Conference

    ATLANTA, GA, January 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Recognizing the need for direct interaction within the voieover community; Atlanta local Gerald Griffith set out to create what he expected would be a great conference reaching voice talent in the southeast United States. After three successful conferences, the VO Atlanta - Voiceover Conference has become anything but regional. In 2015, the conference saw attendees coming from as far away as Australia, Denmark, Spain, another 12 countries. This is in addition to having attendees representing 28 of the 50 states in the US.

The growth of the voiceover conference bodes well for Atlanta as it continues to be a major player in the film industry.

"With Atlanta becoming the third most active film and television market in the country, the impact on the voiceover industry is indeed affected in a positive manner," says Jeffrey Umberger, a voice over industry expert and agent from Umberger Agency; a premier Atlanta voice over talent agency. "With more local production, I have noticed an up-tic in opportunities for our VO actors which would otherwise be isolated to other markets. It's a boon for everyone here, Voiceover included," he adds.

Umberger joins a host of other voiceover experts as part of the 4th Annual VO Atlanta Voiceover Conference where he will lead a special panel discussion focused on the voiceover industry and how it connects with Atlanta. This is one of 10 expert panel discussions in what's become the largest voiceover event of its kind.

The 2016 conference includes two scholarship awards toward attendance at the conference, live panel discussions, and a team challenge.
