PARK CITY, UT, February 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Filmmaker and MetamoraTV host, Matt Duhamel covered the 2016 Sundance Film Festival adopting a unique angle: talk about films that are thought-provoking, inspiring and transformative. Using the mission of his own film company, Metamora Films, Duhamel focuses on red carpet interviews with actors, filmmakers and producers that are developing social justice content such as the documentary film directed by, James Redford, Resilience, and comedies that contain a heart-felt message including the film, The Hollars, starring and directed by John Krasinski.

In the 9-minute highlight video, Duhamel along with his wife Heather, tackle the red carpet to capture brief interviews with Kristin Stewart, Selena Gomez, Ewan Mcgregor, Spike Lee, Don Chealde, Kate Beckinsale, and more about each of their films underlining meaning and what the audience may take away. Gomez, who stars in the film, The Fundamentals of Caring, referred to the characters and how they learn from each other, "No matter what life throws your way, you have to understand something is always going to be there".

During his premier of Complete Unknown, film director, Joshua Marston mentioned, "Part of the reason why I got into being a filmmakers, is because I'm fascinated with investigating other people, other worlds, other lives. For me, every film is an opportunity to enter into a whole other world and play anthropologist."

"I wanted to pay tribute to the filmmakers and actors involved in films that are making a difference, even in a small way", Duhamel said. Duhamel, who has produced several documentary films himself including, The Forgiveness Journey, Life Under The Horseshoe and What Makes Me Tic?, has a true passion for positive filmmaking. His next project, NOT FOR RENT! (working title) is a feature documentary film focusing on the struggles and roadblocks ex-inmates face while trying to find appropriate housing.
