Loyola University Ranked the Best Catholic College in the United States

The comprehensive ranking methodology takes into account the fact that a great Catholic university should allow students to delve deeper into the roots of varied educational fields, while retaining their faith and developing in them the highest level of personal and professional ethics. Cost-effectiveness and the ability to produce measurable academic outcomes were the other two factors that were weighed in, while compiling the list.

While Boston University was ranked as 3rd best Catholic school, it remains one of best American institutions for research. It ranks 27th among national universities by American School Search. Owing to its exemplary academics, students from Boston college have earned more than 200 prestigious academic scholarships over the past decade.

One of the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher education - Georgetown University, located in Washington D.C - has been ranked as the second best Catholic college in the country. The college is governed independently by the Society of Jesus and of church authorities, and remains one of the leading academic and research institutions in America. Some of the most notable alumni of Georgetown University include former U.S. President Bill Clinton, U.S Chief Justice Edward Douglas White and many more members of Congress.
