NEW! Thermetrics Copper Slug Calorimeter Sensors for ISO / ASTM Testing

Thermetrics Copper Slug Calorimeter Sensors combine high performance and fast delivery at a reasonable price.

Thermetrics now offers its own line of accurate, readily available copper slug calorimeter sensors for the TPP, RPP, CCHR, and other thermal protection test devices.

SEATTLE, WA, February 26, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As recognized leaders in the thermal measurement field, Thermetrics now offers its own line of accurate, readily available copper slug calorimeter sensors for the TPP, RPP, CCHR, and other thermal protection test devices.

A copper slug calorimeter sensor measures the temperature rise in a thermally insulated slug to determine heat transfer rates for a wide range of applications, including radiant and convective heat flux.

Thermetrics maintains a standard inventory of TPP and RPP calibrated sensors for immediate delivery.

Key Benefits:

Sensor dimensions are compliant with ASTM guidelines to be interchangeable across all models and manufacturers of TPP and RPP devices.

The slug is made of oxygen free high conductivity copper machined to precise weight and dimensional tolerances.

Calibrated per known methods using ISO 17025 practices.

Please inquire about ISO-type RPP sensors, CCHR sensors and custom copper slug calorimeter sensor applications.

TPP - Thermal Protective Performance device, also known as a HTP (Heat Transfer Performance).
RPP - Radiant Protective Performance device
CCHR - Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance device

Thermetrics (a subsidiary of Measurement Technology NW) designs and manufactures a wide range of advanced test instruments for measuring and evaluating the thermal characteristics of textiles, garments, and dynamic thermal environments such as automobile, truck, and aircraft interiors. The company's comprehensive line of thermal manikins, guarded hotplates, and flame test systems support all major test standards for measuring thermal insulation, thermal protection, and moisture permeability values.

Will I be comfortable? Will I stay protected? Will I meet the standards?
Thanks to innovative test equipment and software from Thermetrics, you'll know.
