Gary Gogol president of Annabelle Candy Company was present to accept the Guinness World Records title for the "Largest Taffy", on Friday April 15th, 2016 in Hayward, CA. "Getting into the Guinness World Records is great but celebrating that our customers continue to enjoy our candy is even more rewarding."

This was the first time this record was attempted; Guinness World Records set the weight at 200 kg (440.93lbs). Annabelle Candy's Abba Zaba Taffy came in at 237.68 kg (524lbs), setting a new record. It took 20 employees 2 hours to construct the 1,000 foot candy masterpiece.
