LOS ANGELES, CA, June 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- South New Jersey native, Tommy Florio, has always been passionate about his love for the arts and in his late teens, began actively pursuing acting. As he began navigating his way through the entertainment industry on a variety of platforms, including singing, song writing, directing, and acting, Tommy noticed that there was a lack of resources available for creative individuals to connect and collaborate on different projects. In an effort to make this process easier for those hoping to follow the same path that Tommy has chosen, he designed an app called CreateMate.

CreateMate is a social marketplace for creative individuals to create, connect, and collaborate on jobs and projects anywhere. In May of 2015, Tommy submitted a one minute pitch video to ABC's 20/20 Sales Challenge, with Kevin O'Leary, of Shark Tank and won his sales challenge on national television out of thousands of students from all over the country. CreateMate gained a significant amount of attention in the creative community in New York.
